Assistant Warehouse Manager Location: On Site | New Hope, MN Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Pay: Salary | $24-28 per hour
Summary The Warehouse Manager reports to the Director of Procurement Distribution & Logistics and supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, providing order and delivery services according to the mission and culture of CHM while meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the management team. The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant Manager is to maintain the New Hope MN warehouse, keep inventory levels at established limits and manage inventory counts across all CHM locations, and ensure proper pulling and provision of orders at corporate location.
Job Responsibilities
· Coordinates year-end Inventory counts and works with accounting on inventory reconciliation at both Corporate and Branch locations.
· Work effectively as a team with CHM management and all CHM personnel to maintain a positive culture in the warehouse.
· Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
· Promote and maintain the image and reputation of CHM ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Manages Warehouse personnel and works with leadership on discipline and hiring activities
· Determines overall layout for warehouse and works with leadership to identify opportunities for lean improvements.
· Keeps Purchasing Coordinators informed as to inventory levels and ordering needs.
· Oversees warehouse to make sure it is clean and organized.
· Knowledgeable leader who mentors warehouse staff on the location of all products in the warehouse.
· Responsible for inbound receiving and outbound shipping and traceability activities. Ensures the proper products are allocated to orders and documentation is completed properly and submitted on time.
· Ensures defective equipment is repaired or properly disposed of.
· Performs equipment maintenance and record keeping activities.
· Prioritize and facilitate pulling of orders for drivers.
· Ensure FIFO is followed, and no expired products are available for distribution.
· Responsible for creating safe and consistent procedures for business unit operations and ensures warehouse meets DME training course requirements and Compliance Team requirements.
· Responsibility for FDA, Forklift training, and OSHA regulations.
· Oversees maintenance of warehouse and equipment cleaning.
· May be asked to assist with deliveries if short-staffed.
· May be asked to work extra hours on weekends or evenings.
· Resolve customer complaints as they arise.
· Ensure the accuracy of pick tickets
· Approves and adjusts timecards as needed for warehouse workers .
· Approves Invoices and provides signed documents to AP for payment.
· Completes annual Performance Reviews and one on ones with warehouse staff
· Follow safety rules when lifting, managing heavy material, and operating equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Five years of warehouse, shipping, and delivery experience.
· Must have excellent organizational skills.
· 2+ years management experience preferred
· When interacting with vendors and customers, must have a presentable, professional appearance, good communication skills, and be able to maintain good relations, even in difficult situations.
· Attend vendor and company sponsored in-services training, and complete all required and primary courses in DME training.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
· Requires independent decision-making skills and ability to problem solve with positivity.
· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
· Proven ability to stay organized and multi-task successfully with multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Good computer skills.
· Highly motivated.
· Proven high attention to detail.
· Team player with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions
Must demonstrate the ability to work in a standard warehouse setting and use standard office equipment, which may include but is not limited to: computers and various mechanical equipment and/or devices. Requires the ability to safely operate a forklift; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; strength to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone; manual dexterity to perform job functions and stamina to frequently stand for extended periods of time. Must wear steel-toed shoes.
