Purpose: Become a vital member of Floor & Decor as a Warehouse Operative. You'll play an essential role in our retail operations by compiling orders, replenishing merchandise, and engaging with our valued customers. Organize merchandise according to company standards for a seamless shopping experience. Assist customers in loading their purchases accurately. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Basic math skills required. Previous warehouse experience is a must. Experience in customer service is essential. Familiarity with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Must complete forklift certification through Floor & Decor. Certification for heavy equipment requires passing a drug test, where applicable by state law. Working Conditions: This role involves occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level may vary from quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory Requirements: Must have the ability to lift 30 - 60 pounds occasionally and/or 20-30 pounds frequently. The position involves lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects. You should be prepared to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
