Warehouse Lead

As the Warehouse Lead, you will assist in oversight of day-to-day operations as they relate to maintaining and coordinating cross-dock operations and ensure its processes are safe and efficient. This individual will be an essential part to the cornerstone of UST's growth and success that is built upon the expectation that EVERY team member will Execute Excellence Every time - simply known internally as E3.

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Responsibilities

• Continuously meets UST and client safety standards for all duties assigned, including the use of all heavy equipment, and motorized or non-motorized equipment
• Ensures accuracy of all products added or removed from conveyors, racks, and pallets
• Ensures proper preparation of product for loading and delivery
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Maintains a positive working relationship with all team members
• Operates distribution center computer systems as required to control product flow
• Safely and accurately performs responsibilities within the cross-dock including receiving, processing, stocking, selecting, and moving products within the distribution center
• Uses equipment necessary to receive, process, and select product for loading and delivery
• Acts as the acting supervisor on duty when the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor is absent
• Continuous monitoring of applicable systems to ensure complete and accurate data
• Ensures staff keeps up with safe and proper practices when handling the product to ensure it's always in good condition

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy and/or bulky merchandise
• Previous experience in Warehouse or Distribution operations
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Possess effective written and verbal communication
• Valid Driver's License
