Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver that is willing to roll their sleeves up, work hard, and assist our warehouse team with a variety of tasks.
Primary Role:
You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and materials. In addition, you may assist our drivers on the road with residential and business deliveries
Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver
Responsibilities:
Receive and track shipments
Load and unload merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools and equipment
Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
Tag and label merchandise
Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
Prepare all orders for shipment
Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
Assist our drivers with residential and business deliveries as needed
On-time delivery
Represent our company in a respectful and professional manner
Excellent customer service
Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
Other duties as needed
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License
DOT certification will be considered an advantage
TSA approved - considered an advantage
Previous working experience as a Warehouse associate and delivery driver
Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
Good organizational and time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Must be 21 years of age or older
Fluent in English
Able to pass drug screening and MVR check
Great physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
Forklift Operation and DOT certification
