Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Base Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday - Friday)

Duties And Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate 1 must be able to set up and operate designated machinery including but not limited to: banders, pallet jacks, forklifts. The Warehouse Associate 1 must gain thorough knowledge of Warehouse production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building parts.

• Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
• Ability to set-up and operate designated machinery and equipment
• Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
• Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts
• Interpret technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
• Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
• May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED Previous experience a plus
• Good attitude
• Team oriented
• Dependable
• Energetic
• Flexible with either working day or night shifts and weekends if needed
• Read a tape
• Overhead crane and forklift experience a plus
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
