A global industrial equipment manufacturing company in the Houston, TX area is looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have prior shipping & receiving experience, as well as knowledge of SAP & inventory control, and safely operate warehouse equipment. Responsibilities of the Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator include but are not limited to: · Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, while recording location of inventory · Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders · Handles in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies Requirements of the Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator: · Relevant work history in shipping & receiving and/or warehousing logistics experience · High School Diploma or equivalent · Must adhere to safety disciplines daily and be able to operate a forklift · This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
