Role And Responsibilities

Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components. Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary. Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies. Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Maintain Quality documentation. Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1-3 years of electronic part inspection experience. Proficient experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes). Demonstrated proficiency in reading basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs. Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc. Utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and various communication systems effectively. Identify and escalate potential issues. Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation. Must have excellent organizational skills, possess high attention to details, with the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously. Excellent and effective oral and written communication. Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts. All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

Preferred Knowledge Skills And Abilities

IPC-J-STD 610, 620, or 001. Ability to recognize the importance of processes and procedures and follow them accordingly. Ability to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands. Effectively evaluate workload and manage competing priorities and deadlines. Proactively recognize challenges or risks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Occasional exposure to heat and cold. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following: perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves. Kneeling or squatting to access lower shelves. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments. Walking/moving in the labs.

Compensation: The pay range is not a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. CA Pay Range $22$27 USD.
