A growing industrial services operation supporting complex projects and precision-built systems is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are accurate, accounted for, and customer-ready. This role plays a critical part in project success by maintaining inventory integrity, verifying outbound loads, and supporting quality documentation in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour or DOE Schedule: Must be flexible Employment Type: Temporary

What You'll Do

  • Manage inventory control for products and purchased equipment received and delivered.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment, parts, and supplies using count and logging systems.
  • Perform weekly inventory counts and ensure records are current and accurate.
  • Inspect equipment and materials being loaded for projects to confirm accuracy per load sheets.
  • Verify correct sizes and quantities of studs, nuts, and related components for each project.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, organized, and presentable prior to delivery to customers.
  • Review and approve UT forms and hydro test charts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies or issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Forecast potential inventory challenges and proactively communicate concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and leadership across departments.
  • Support cross-training efforts by assisting in multiple departments as needed.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and anticipate future needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to train across departments to support operational collaboration.
  • Ability to pass an Excel skills test and a computer literacy assessment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more as required.
