Controlled Substance Inventory Control Specialist
Under the general supervision of a supervisor and working within a cage or secured area, a Controlled Substance Inventory Control Specialist provides analysis/reporting for the Warehouse Operations team and clients as needed. In addition, the Inventory Control Specialist serves as a Warehouse Management System (WMS) technical expert providing support for WMS users through training and troubleshooting issues. The Inventory Control Specialist uses an RF gun and other equipment to perform several inventory support functions including cycle counting, relieving destruction, license plating aging product, and sorting aged product. They also participate in physical inventory testing and assigning product to locations.
Operational (100%)
- Cycle count and reconcile product inventory by storage location as directed
- Notify supervisor of all inventory variances
- Participate in the Biennial DEA Inventory
- Generate scheduled inventory status reports to monitor inventory transactions
- Communicate with leads, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Demonstrate safe ability to operate Order Picker
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year's work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
- 1-3 years experience performing analytical work; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to delegate and prioritize work
- Bilingual a plus but not required
- Able to handle difficult client situations in a manner that maintains good business relations, both internal and external
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office and Google suites; experience using basic office equipment
- Ability to work at elevated heights
- Ability to use a scan gun or gladiator and an order picker
- Able to follow standard operation procedures and follow instructions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
- Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. required
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified or ability to become certified required

The hiring pay rate for this position is: $17.20 Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.
In addition to base hourly pay, eligible employees in this role may receive:
- Safety bonuses based on meeting defined performance and compliance requirements.
- Shift differentials, where applicable(e.g. for evening or late shifts)
