Warehouse/Route Driver

The Warehouse/Route Driver is responsible for the safe delivery and efficient transport of goods or products to various destinations along a designated route. You will operate a company vehicle and follow assigned delivery routes, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries. This includes loading and unloading goods, navigating the route using maps or GPS, and maintaining delivery records. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, adhering to safety regulations, and following company policies and procedures for efficient delivery operations.

Requirements:

Must be able to safely drive a 26' Box Truck.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional CDL driving experience (route delivery, freight, or similar).
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently (or as specified by company); able to bend, stoop, climb steps, and be on feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable operating delivery equipment (hand truck/dolly) and basic vehicle controls.
• Proficient with smartphone/GPS navigation and able to learn route-management/scan devices.
• Ability to pass company background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
• Customer service experience; professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Experience using handheld scanners, mobile route optimization software, or TMS/WMS integration
• Forklift certification or experience (where applicable).
• Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) - helpful in customer-facing roles.
• Prior experience with time-sensitive or high-value deliveries.
