Background checks and Drug Test complete for all job offers OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: In this role, you will work in our shipping and receiving department, managing incoming and outgoing orders. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager and respective departmental supervisors. You will unload deliveries from trucks and container, receive cargo in the warehouse management system, move inventory to the correct shelving location, fulfil orders, stage pallets and prepare for shipping, as well as load up trucks for outbound orders. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately. ACCOUNTABILITIES Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. Provides quality service by following organization standards. Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Completes reports by entering required information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. SKILL, EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as warehouse items might be cumbersome and heavy. Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing. Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse. Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred. Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory. Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance. Forklift certification and experience a plus Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Ability to obtain an STA clearance from US Department of Customs in first 30 days of employment.
