We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated  Warehouse   Lead  to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Jacksonville, FL! The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for being serving as a bridge between warehouse employees and the leadership team of the Distribution Centre. Duties include floor work and team management in a warehouse setting. The team Lead is to manage the team and offer support whenever needed. They are responsible for ensuring that their group safely meets the efficiency and quality standards that IPEX expects of all its employees. The role directly reports to the Distribution Centre Coordinator(s) (DCC). Requirements Assign, Lead and participate in all Operations with the team to ensure the days orders are on schedule for on time delivery. Conduct warehouse walks, pick orders and transfers, receive PO’s, process RMA’s, supervise dock operations, assign replenishment/re-slotting/5S, keep track of supplies, participate in SOP development, and support inventory management according to expectations set by the leadership team. Train other members of the staff as needed on processes, practices and workload as per company policy/SOP’s. Act as a Liaison between the warehouse crew and Management to ensure all issues regarding the building, employees, and products are communicated appropriately to ensure accurate documentation, prioritization and resolution to issues as they arise; Displays initiative identifying, communication concerns and offering solutions to any of the concerns brought on by the warehouse operations team and being transparent on the floor 70% of the time. Take a leadership role and be responsible for Year End Inventory preparation and administration. Make recommendations regarding Warehouse equipment requirements, including the use, maintenance and safe operation by the employees of company equipment; Ensure safe work environment and practices for the warehouse team and establish a reporting structure for unsafe conditions. Also ensure that all duties are carried out in a safe and practical manner and that the workplace is free of hazards for employees as well as visitors; Able to communicate in an efficient manner by following through with explaining the accurate procedure, on any issues brought to the lead by the warehouse team. Conducting one on ones with the hourly employees to improve morale or tackling and concerns Participate in Annual Review Feedback. Secure overtime requirements as per needs of the business. Other duties as assigned by the management team. Education & Experience: Complete and pass CTPAT Criminal Background check Experience of 1 year of using Infoflo RF and TMS systems HS Diploma or equivalent required Experience in a Leadership / Management Role is a plus Knowledgeable of safe operating practices for Order Pickers & Forklifts Working Conditions: Accurately and quickly servicing a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. Work involves both routine and non-routine tasks within well-defined standards. Incumbent spends approximately 70% of their time in the warehouse environment requiring varying degrees of considerable physical labour. Lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects (25-50lbs), standing and walking covers majority of the work. Personal safety is affected by dust and traffic caused by forklift and order pickers. Moderate amount of sensory attention is required. Limited control of work pace and inconsistent workflow brings considerable stress to this position.
