Overview

Join our team as a Warehouse Operative, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our freight operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for unloading freight with or without manual or powered equipment under the guidance of a Supervisor and Site Manager.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- Unload and break down freight efficiently and safely.

- May require training to operate a forklift or electric pallet jack.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate.

- Frequently required to stand, walk, and engage in various physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

- Must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and move between 50 to 75 pounds.

- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

- Prior experience with forklift/electric pallet jack operation is preferred.

Ability to repeatedly lift 50-75 pounds. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Warehouse experience is advantageous. Experience with forklift/electric pallet jack operation is preferred. Capability to work in a demanding physical warehouse environment. Ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Readiness to work overtime, if necessary, without prior notice. Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

- Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack is a plus but not mandatory, as training and certification will be provided to suitable candidates.
