Hold daily start-up meetings to communicate priorities, safety topics, and KPI targets.
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) that meet or exceed service level agreements for B2B and DTC channels.
Inventory Management and Accuracy
Maintain ≥99% inventory accuracy by implementing cycle-count programs, slotting strategies, and root-cause analysis for variances.

Team Development and Staffing
Recruit, train, schedule, and coach warehouse personnel (20–30 associates across multiple shifts).
Conduct regular performance reviews, create development plans, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and internal safety policies; lead monthly safety audits and incident investigations.
Oversee maintenance of material-handling equipment, racking, dock doors, and security systems; manage relationships with facility vendors.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
Champion 5S, Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce order defects.
Analyze KPIs (fill rate, lines picked per hour, on-time ship rate, dock-to-stock time) and execute corrective action plans.
Budget and Cost Control
Manage department budget for labor, MHE, supplies, and facility expenses; initiate cost-saving projects without sacrificing service levels.
Negotiate contracts for temporary labor, equipment rentals, and third-party services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate daily with Purchasing on inbound schedules and capacity planning.
Align with E-Commerce and Customer Service on promotional spikes, new product launches, and peak-season forecasts.
Support Engineering and Product teams with sample pulls or special handling requirements.

Produce weekly and monthly operations dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting trends, wins, and risks.

Proven track record of hitting KPIs in a high-volume B2B and/or e-commerce environment.
Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan, or similar) and RF technology.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, hazmat, and international shipping regulations.
