Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour, with an increase to $17.00 per hour after 90 days based on performance and attendance

Job Description:

Our client is seeking dependable individuals to work as Warehouse Receivers/Scanners/Unloaders at their rug distribution warehouse in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves hands-on warehouse operations — unloading, sorting, organizing, packing, shipping, and racking rugs ranging in weight from 5 to 55 lbs throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including familiarity with WMS systems, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and repetitive motion work.

Shift: 1st Shift — Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (may vary depending on operational needs)

This job requires you to have your own reliable transportation to get to work every day.

• Handle rugs weighing between 5 and 55 lbs. safely and efficiently throughout the day.
• Unload trucks and trailers, scan, sort, and organize incoming products.
• Prepare rugs for packing, shipping, and storage.
• Pick, pull, and stage products to match delivery or shipment orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Assist with inventory accuracy through sorting, labeling, and spot-checking.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for the entire shift.
• Must be comfortable lifting, moving, and organizing rugs weighing up to 55 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but the majority of loads are handled by hand.
• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Work Environment:

• Active warehouse setting with frequent physical activity and manual handling of materials.
• Regular exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Must follow all company safety procedures at all times.
