Medtronic in Brooklyn Park is looking for experienced warehouse associates to contribute to the production of life-saving devices!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Package and repackage medical devices
• Label packages with extreme accuracy
• Ability to learn new steps in the packaging procedures
• Setup and maintain a clean work site
• Document all steps in the process
• Use Microsoft Office to document steps
• Warehouse duties, that will include order picking and pallet jack/forklift use

Requirements

• ERP or SAP experience preferred
• Forklift and warehouse experience
• Excellent mechanical dexterity, combined with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Be able to work on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
• Pass all required assessments
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Complete a drug test and a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Good manual dexterity; ability to perform multiple repetitive operations and rotate every 1-4 hours depending on assignedproduction line/area
• Able to stand at work station up to 10 hours/day
• May require lifting/carrying 5-8 lbs. up to 8 hours/day, 8- 20
• lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. 4 times/week
• May require bending/stooping/kneeling 2-3 hours/day
• May require reaching up to 8 hours/day
• May require using step stool/climbing up to 8 hours/day
• May require using microscope to perform fine close up work up
• to 8 hours/day
• Must be able to work with chemicals and solvents with no known
• chemical allergies
• Able to wear clean room attire such as gowns, gloves, safety
• glasses

Benefits

• Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
