Job Title: Supply Chain Operator - Board Role & Responsibilities: • Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting. • Recording of supply data and other results in the manner required. • Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment. • Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision. • Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable. Qualifications & Requirements: Must meet all job transfer requirements as listed under the job transfer policy including: • Employee must have at least 6 months of service in their current department. • Employee must meet the qualifications stated in the job posting. • Employee current performance review must be at "Meets Expectations" level. • Employee cannot have 4 or more Attendance Points at the time of application submission. (Includes verbal/written contacts) • Employee must not have received more than 2 discipline contacts for performance or safety in the last 12 months. (Includes verbal, written contacts, suspension) • Employees must have secured approval from their direct Supervisor confirming eligibility based on the criteria above. • Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules. • Must have at least 6 months of driving forklift experience at Galena Park. • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions. • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting. • Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.). • Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers. • Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Additional Information: • Shift: M-F 6:00 am - 3:00 pm and OT as needed. • Department: Galena Park-Supply Chain Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
