Position Summary The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Supply Chain Team, assisting with production scheduling, inventory management, and the documentation of customer specifications for new sales orders. This position is essential for ensuring accurate data tracking, seamless coordination across departments, and effective execution of supply chain operations. The Coordinator will manage allocations, data entry, spec mapping, and special instructions mapping, ensuring that all relevant details are readily available for the Planner to optimize input planning and line time. Position Responsibilities • Perform allocations and deallocations of finished goods in SAP as directed by the Planner. • Manage inventory reservations in SAP based on the Planner's instructions, ensuring accuracy in all data entries. • Create and update process orders, adjusting quantities, dates, and other critical details as needed. • Update and maintain the sales order status tracker, reflecting real-time changes in production and shipping. • Document customer-required specifications and special instructions for new sales orders, ensuring the Planner has all necessary details to make informed decisions. • Coordinate inter-plant transfer requests, working closely with logistics and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate movements. • Track and reconcile inventory movements to maintain precise costing and traceability. • Assist in sourcing input materials and managing raw product requirements, ensuring timely procurement and availability. • Actively identify line time constraints and production capacity challenges to support the Planner in managing the production schedule. • Monitor production schedules and adjusts as necessary to maintain an optimal balance between capacity and demand. • Provide administrative support to the planning team, including data entry, report generation, and facilitating cross-departmental communication. • Participate in ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain processes, production planning, and inventory control. • Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements • High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred. • Two (2) years of experience in inventory management, production planning, or logistics required. • SAP experience highly preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and track inventory movements across multiple facilities. • Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines simultaneously. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and document customer specifications accurately. • Proven ability to support production scheduling and capacity planning responsibilities in collaboration with the Planner. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and sales. • Detail-oriented mindset focused on accuracy in data management, customer specifications, and cost tracking. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. • Eagerness to contribute to the planning process and take on increasing responsibilities within supply chain operations. The pay for this role in the state of CA ranges from $26.92 - $36.06 per hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
