Position Overview
The Senior Night Warehouse Manager is a hands-on, operational leader responsible for overseeing large-scale, multi-shift warehouse operations in a high-volume, conveyor-based distribution center. This is a leader-of-leaders role with ownership of both operational performance and team development. You will manage a team of 40+ employees and 25 supervisors, actively engaging on the warehouse floor to drive safety, quality, attendance, and productivity. Success in this role requires a hands-on leadership approach, ensuring your team has the tools, training, and support to perform at their best while continuously improving efficiency, workflow, and operational excellence through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. This role is also key to delivering on Johnson Brothers' customer promise, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline staff, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
Build a strong leadership pipeline and maintain alignment across multi-shift operations, including managers on shifts other than your own.
Oversee night warehouse operations, including inventory management, picking, replenishment, shipping, and loading.
Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery, maintaining compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Safety, Routing, Security, Fleet, HR) to resolve operational challenges and achieve business objectives.
Own and monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Translate organizational goals into actionable warehouse plans and support strategic execution, continuous improvement, and operational scalability.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in environments where noise levels vary and can be loud.
Work in areas subject to variable temperatures, including outdoor loading and delivery stations.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of warehouse leadership experience in high-volume distribution.
Proven experience of employee and performance management of supervisors or managers, not just frontline employees.
Experience overseeing multi-shift warehouse operations.
Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); HighJump preferred.
Experience in conveyor-based warehouse operations preferred.
Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, and team development capabilities.
Hands-on leadership style with flexibility to support day and night operations.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

The expected pay range for this role is $100,000.00+. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, labor markets, education, experience, certifications, etc. Johnson Brothers offers eligible team members and their dependents comprehensive health benefits and programs, which include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts.
