Quality Lab Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description The Quality Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing on ingredients and finished products. This role ensures the production line operates effectively by conducting online checks. Responsibilities Perform testing on products to ensure quality standards are met. Track accelerated and refrigerated shelf life samples of finished products. Maintain an inventory of shelf life/retainer samples. Essential Skills Proficiency in inspection and laboratory testing. Ability to perform data entry on computers. Comfortable working in hot and cold environments. Experience with frequent pipefitting and gripping tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understand the basic operation of lab equipment. Complete two months of on-the-job training to achieve base skill level. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position involves working in a 24-7 operation within an 80,000 square foot warehouse. Employees work 12-hour shifts on a two-week rotating schedule (2 on 3 off & 3 on 2 off), with shifts from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The work environment includes an enclosed cheese room where managing ingredients and machines is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Casa Grande, Arizona. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
