Job Summary The OR Case Cart Technician is responsible for pulling case carts for cases. Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: • Helps maintain appropriate levels of supplies in Center Core and other storage areas to be able to pull cases for the next day • Manage materials and supplies for Center Core and sub-sterile areas that are out of stock or depleted • Ensure expired supplies are pulled and not used in cases • Ensure cleanliness and stocking of shelves with or supplies • Assist with OR inventory count • All other assignments related sterile supply storage Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED Skills and Abilities • Proficient computer user • Supply, counting, and inventory experience is helpful • Sufficient communicator, must read, write, and speak English Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships This position has much interaction with patients, their family members, physicians, nursing staff, and other medical staff as needed.
