NEB Order Picker

Monday- Friday, 8am shift start time JOB SUMMARY: The Order Selector's main responsibility is to pick product and assemble pallets from assigned Load Sheets and prepare the trucks for next day's outgoing delivery. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Strip delivery trucks of empties and returned product Repair damaged cases and return to inventory Stack and sort empty containers, kegs, and pallets Restock product into picking Locations Pick orders and load delivery trucks Ensure 100% accuracy on the truck loads Maintain clean and organized warehouse Assemble customer pick up orders or will calls Make emergency deliveries to customers as needed Ensure proper maintenance and care of all Equipment Replace forklift and all other equipment in recharge station at end of shift Assist with receiving product into warehouse ONGOING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • TO IMPROVE THE WORK ENVIRONMENT by exhibiting respect, compassion, enthusiasm and a sense-of-humor on a daily basis. • SERVICE OUR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS by to adding value for our fellow employees, our customers and our vendors and striving to provide effective solutions to solve their problems. • CONTINUALLY USE OUR MINDS AND OUR CREATIVE POWERS to improve overall company performance by suggesting more effective methods of operating. ACCOUNTABILITIES: All trucks must be loaded in time for next day delivery and checked prior to leaving the building MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma required • Forklift certified preferred • Experience using Electric Pallet Jacks preferred MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Environmental Conditions May be subject to inside environmental conditions, including noise.
