Job Title: Material Handler Urgently Hiring! Pay: $17.00 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Material Handler for a position with our client, a reputable Powder Coating and Metal Finishing facility located in Tangent, OR. The Material Handler will play an essential role in efficiently moving, packaging, and handling materials in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, performing physical tasks, and ensuring accuracy in product handling. As a Material Handler , you will be responsible for: Safely operating a forklift to move materials within the facility. Assisting in packaging and wrapping finished products for storage and shipment. Transferring materials to metal pallets for heat treating. Organizing and re-stacking incoming products as necessary. Ensuring products are handled carefully to avoid damage and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate for this role will have: Previous experience in material handling or warehouse roles. Forklift operation experience is required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach, climb, and step over obstacles. This role involves substantial physical activity and movement.
