Inventory Control Specialist | Sparks, NV

Nexeo HR is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to support a high-volume warehouse in Henderson, NV. In this role, you will ensure accurate inventory levels, efficient material flow, and reliable documentation of goods across multiple warehouse departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations

• Operate Reach Trucks safely to locate, move, and organize inventory

• Track and record material movement within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Support inbound and outbound processes, ensuring documentation accuracy

• Investigate and resolve count discrepancies through research and root-cause analysis

• Maintain clean, organized storage locations with proper labeling and product placement

• Assist cross-functional teams including Shipping/Receiving, Returns, and Quality Control

• Follow warehouse SOPs and safety standards to ensure reliable, compliant operations

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven Reach Truck operation experience (certification a plus)

• 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or related experience

• Knowledge of WMS platforms (SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder, or similar)

• Proficient with RF scanners and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform team lifts when needed

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience with returns or reverse logistics processes

• Advanced inventory reporting or reconciliation experience

• • Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean warehouse practices

Pay

$19.00-$21.50 Per Hour

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am – 3:30pm | Monday - Friday

*Must be willing and available to work OT hours as needed.
