Framestore Pictures represents a curated roster of Directors who are supported by Framestore's powerhouse of talent across design, creative technology, and visual effects. Our skilled team of Directors create live-action content across multiple platforms including traditional commercials, digital, branded content, VR and immersive entertainment. This is a full-time staff position with benefits. Ideal candidates will be based in either New York or Los Angeles and be available to work a hybrid schedule with 1-2 office days per week on average. Framestore Pictures is a full-service production company that serves as a creative partner to clients in making commercials, multi-platform content, and integrated advertising. We are seeking a Production Coordinator to work within our live action production team. The ideal candidate has experience working at a commercial production company or in line production. This is a staff position and well suited to an aspiring producer or anyone with ambition to learn the ins and outs of live action production. We're looking for a detail-oriented multi-tasker who can think on their feet and make sure our team runs smoothly. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Production. Whether you're assembling treatments, scheduling and taking notes during meetings or communicating with our clients; we need someone who is a great communicator and has a passion for producing. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to learn from both directors and producers in a fast-paced creative environment. What you'll do: Assist Head of Production & Executive Producer with bidding, research, crew holds and bookings for new jobs Create and manage paperwork for all stages of bidding, prep, and production Manage schedules for MD & Directors Coordinate pitch meetings and oversee full treatment process including sourcing and hiring of treatment teams (ie. designers, copywriters, etc) Track and update job statuses across offices in LA, NY and Chicago - updating and maintaining multiple CRM's for all aspects of the business - production and sales Works with the Post/VFX teams in tracking projects through after the shoot through post Produces Director Cuts and maintains relationship vendors throughout the process Work with internal and external finance teams to ensure tracking of all production invoices & PO's Building showreels and maintaining our online database of finished work using Wiredrive, as well as organizing our website's files and maintaining the website Fully developing and executing a plan for our Instagram that's creative and in line with our POV Coordinate with EP to plan networking events and screenings Organize production space and travel as needed Provide support to Head of Production and freelance production teams during shoot prep & wrap as needed Highly organized, quick-thinking problem solver, and multitasker A genuinely positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude, and a willingness to learn. The ability to self-start and self-manage but can also take direction well Always looking for ways to improve efficiency and streamline workflow Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to look beyond immediate tasks to foresee possible problems and solutions Knowledge of advertising, branded content, or commercial production, and interest in industry trends An eye for design - experience with layout of sales materials and social media content is a plus Proficiency in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Keynote New York Employees Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, non-exempt. The posted range describes the minimum to maximum range for this job description in the state of New York. The range is posted in accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Bill. The range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of New York City. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
