Box Truck Driver (26 Ft)

Compensation: $55,000 salary + extended travel bonuses

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (flexibility required)

Location: Whites Creek, TN (Nashville Area)

Travel: Up to 50% overnight regional travel

Reports to: Logistics Manager

The Opportunity

We're hiring a dependable box truck driver (26 ft) to perform secure IT equipment pickups from schools and businesses across the region.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be driving, loading and unloading equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and representing ER2 professionally at client sites.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Drive a 26-foot box truck for assigned pickup routes
  • Perform local and regional client pickups (multi-state at times)
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload IT equipment safely
  • Provide professional, courteous service at client locations
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
  • Track pickups and inventory accurately using basic computer tools
  • Sort and process electronics in the warehouse
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and lifts (certification training as needed)
  • Maintain clean vehicles and organized work areas
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams

About You (Qualifications)

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck
  • Willing and able to travel overnight (up to 50%)
  • Able to lift 70100 lbs consistently
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Customer-service mindset
  • Basic computer skills (Excel / Google Sheets)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
  • Must possess or obtain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate prior to start (company covers cost if needed)
  • Preferred: Experience driving larger commercial vehicles
  • Preferred: Warehouse or logistics experience
